BALI (Library of Foreign Languages and Literatures) opens a new venue in San Sebastiano

From April 28, 2025, the East Asian collections (AO), previously housed at Palazzo Vendramin, will be accessible at San Sebastiano. The new library offers more seating, mostly open-shelf collections, and a workshop-style space for seminars and collaborative activities. The 35,000 volumes – rare and valuable works in Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and Southeast Asian languages – will be arranged across two floors, with course textbooks located in the beautiful, light-filled Sala Colonne-Ruperti on the ground floor.
Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm

IOP (Institute of Physics): new Read&Publish agreement

The University Library System has subscribded a Read&Publish agreement with the publisher IOP (Institute of Physics). The agreement provides not only access to the subscribed content, but also the possibility of publishing articles in open access in over 70 hybrid and gold open access journals of the publisher.
