The double degree programme between Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and Kyungpook National University (KNU) offers students enrolled in the Bachelor's Degree in Languages, Cultures, and Society of Asia and the Mediterranean Africa - Korea curriculum, Humanities path, the opportunity to attend an intensive language course and two semesters of mobility for studies at the partner University.
At the end of the programme, which lasts a total of 4 academic years and one semester, students will obtain a double academic degree:

The programme is reserved to students enrolled in the Bachelor's degree programme in Language, Culture and Society of Asia and Mediterranean Africa - Korea curriculum, Humanities path at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice.
To participate in the programme the application must be submitted during the 3rd year of enrolment.
At the time of the submission of the application students must have successfully taken the following exams: Korean Language 1 (LT002J), Korean Language 2 (LT003J) and English Language (LT005P) envisaged in their study plan.
Students must obtain all the credits of the first two years of the Bachelor’s degree programme, by successfully passing all the relevant exams envisaged by the study plan. In addition, the students must have successfully passed the examinations of KOREAN LANGUAGE 3 MOD. 1 (LT005J) and KOREAN LANGUAGE 3 MOD. 2 (LT004J). In fact, the departure is subject to the actual completion of the indicated credits.

Selected students will attend at the partner University:
Enrollment in the intensive language course requires the payment of a fee.
The exams to be taken during the mobility period will be agreed upon with the academic coordinator of the programme, based on the study plan outlined in the double degree agreement. For more information about the study plan students can contact the Department’s Educational Programme office: internazionale.dsaam@unive.it.
By the end of the mobility period in Korea, in order to obtain the double degree, students must achieve the TOPIK 5 language certification, according to the procedures and deadlines that will be communicated by the partner University during the mobility.
Selected students are required to pay tuition fees to Ca' Foscari for the entire duration of the programme and will benefit from total exemption from the payment of tuition fees at the partner University.
For the mobility period, students will benefit from a mobility grant with a variable amount, as defined annually in the Calls for applications.

After reaching the destination, students will have to get the confirmation of arrival form signed by the Partner University, to certify the actual start date of educational activities.
If the students intend to make changes to the study plan agreed upon before departure, it is possible to complete a Learning Agreement variation form, which must be approved by the academic coordinators of the programme at Ca' Foscari and at the Host University.
At the end of the first semseter of mobility for studies, even if they will stay in Korea for an additional semester, students will have to get the confirmation of departure form signed by the Partner University, to certify the end date of the first mobility year.
Second semester of mobility for studies
For the second semester of mobility for studies will be required to:

As soon as available, students must send to the Welcome Unit (International Office) the Transcript of records issued by the Host University, i.e. the certificate listing all the exams they passed during the mobility abroad.
The exams reported in the Transcript of records must correspond to those agreed upon in the Learning Agreements approved for the two mobility years and any subsequent variation forms.
Students will write their final thesis at Ca’ Foscari, in accordance with the requirements of their degree program, as indicated on the dedicated webpage: Graduate.
Students must submit a formal graduation request, following the procedures and deadlines outlined on the relevant webpage: Thesis and final degree exam | Deadlines, admission and procedures.
Once they have obtained their Italian degree, students must inform the Welcome Unit, which will handle the submission of the necessary documentation to the host institution to initiate the process of issuing the Korean diploma.
It is important to note that, in order to obtain the double degree, students must have achieved the TOPIK 5 certification during their mobility period in Korea.
Both diplomas will be legally recognized in the country of issuance.
