Aquariums

There are 4 spaces available to Ca' Foscari University of Venice members for study and research groups for collaborative study purposes during opening hours.

To book the spaces:

  • go to Easy Planning
  • select BAS – Acquario from 7 days before the chosen date.

If you don't show up within 40 minutes before the start of the booking, the booking will be cancelled.

After booking, you shall:

  1. collect and return the keys to the loan service (no later than the end of the booking period)
  2. undertake to:

    • maintain the laboratory and its equipment in good condition, returning it as it was delivered
    • keep the keys
    • respect booking times
    • correctly fill in the field with the list of users who will use the room. This information will be used for statistical purposes and to check that no double bookings are made. You are not allowed to use the Aquariums if you have a current booking for the reading rooms.

Learning Center

The Learning Center is a space dedicated to learning, research, and the development of ideas and can be used for information meetings and presentations, Information Literacy courses, seminars to support study and research.

It can be booked by teachers, researchers and grant holders, graduates and PhD students, staff from Monday to Friday, from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm.
You have to book starting from 7 days from the chosen date, until midnight of the previous day, through EasyPlanning by selecting BAS - Learning Center as service.
Reservations not validated within 40 minutes of the start will be cancelled.

  • Where: 1st floor of the library
  • Seats: 19
  • Equipment: 65-inch LED screen, wifi, 10 folding tables

Those who need to use the screen must contact the library in advance to verify the compatibility of the equipment.

Those who book undertake to:

  • mantain the laboratory and its equipment in good condition, returning them as they were delivered
  • respect the booking times.
