Career Day Settoriali

On Thursday, April 11, at the Scuola Grande San Giovanni Evangelista in Venice, the Career Day Settoriali, will take place. In a single day, you'll have the opportunity to conduct informational interviews with dozens of companies and organizations from four different business sectors: Finance & Consulting, Fashion & Lifestyle, Industry and Services, Retail & Consumer Goods.
On April 3 and 4, the Direzione Career Day appointments will provide you with valuable insights to better understand the world of work.

Before the Career Day Settoriali, there is the Direzione Career Day: a series of appointments filled with information, insights, and practical ideas to prepare you for your first entry into the world of work.

Career Day Settoriali 2024
Multiple Career Days in one. That's what awaits you at the Career Day Settoriali taking place on Thursday, April 11, at Scuola Grande San Giovanni Evangelista di Venezia.
On the same day and at the same location, you'll have access to company booths belonging to these business sectors: Fashion & Lifestyle, Finance & Consulting, Industry and Services, Retail & Consumer Goods.
To participate in the Sectoral Career Days, you'll need to register for the event and submit your AlmaLaurea CV to the companies through the M.I.T.O. web platform provided by the AlmaLaurea Consortium. Only if you receive at least one interview invitation from any of the companies, you can access the event on April 11 to attend interviews.
Who should attend
- Third-year undergraduate students at Ca' Foscari University
- Master's students at Ca' Foscari University
- Recent graduates with a bachelor's or master's degree from Ca' Foscari University, awarded in 2023
How to Participate
- Prepare your AlmaLaurea CV
The first step is to create or update your AlmaLaurea CV on the M.I.T.O. platform to submit your application to companies. - Register for the event
From March 21 to April 4, registrations will be open for the Career Day Settoriali 2024. - Submit your CV to companies
From March 21 to April 7, access the platform, navigate through the virtual booths of participating companies, and submit your AlmaLaurea CV to the organizations of greatest interest to you. - Receive interview invitations from companies
In the days leading up to the event, you may receive invitations from one or more companies to whom you've sent your CV, inviting you to visit their booth for an introductory interview. - Participate in the Career Day Settoriali
On Thursday, April 11, 2024, if you have one or more interview invitations from companies, arrive at the Scuola Grande San Giovanni Evangelista in Venice. To access the event, the Career Service staff will ask you to show the event registration badge and your interview schedule.

Desk "Working at Ca' Foscari" and "Get to Know the Career Service"
At the Sectoral Career Days, there will also be informational desks from Ca' Foscari University of Venice and the University Career Service.
At the "Working at Ca' Foscari" desk, representatives from the University's Human Resources department will be available to provide you with all the information regarding job competitions to work at our University.
Meanwhile, at the "Get to Know the Career Service" desk, Career Service staff will be available to introduce you to various opportunities such as funded internship projects, the mentoring program "Coltiviamoci," the schedule of upcoming company visits, and much more. Additionally, at our desk, you can ask us any questions about internships in Italy and abroad, job orientation activities, and our initiatives in general.
Reservation is required to access the desks.
Company presentations
You can attend the Company Presentations in which recruiters and managers talk about their organisation (brand history, values, internal structure, possible Graduate Program, etc.).
A Company Presentation can take place online, at Ca' Foscari venues or at the companies headquarters.
Not all events are held in English.
