Ecotopia

Ecotopia is an international Bachelor’s Degree Programme developed as part of EUTOPIA, an alliance of European Universities that share a common vision of creating the future university concept. The programme is taught entirely in English and focuses on Economics, Management, Finance, Business and Sustainability topics.

This Programme is available to students enrolled in the following Bachelor’s Degree Programmes: Economics and Business, International Trade and Tourism. Its goal is to integrate the educational programme of selected students with a variety of extracurricular activities in English, including:

  • online courses on sustainability and European challenges;
  • a 10-month study abroad period at one of the partner Universities during the second year;
  • 2 Summer Schools (Ljubljana, Rabat): the Summer School in Ljubljana is mandatory, the one in Rabat is optional;
  • project works about topics addressed during the programme.

The educational programme is developed as follows:

1st year
  • 60 CFU/ECTS awarded at Ca' Foscari University of Venice
  • 1st Ecotopia online course
  • 1st Summer School
     
2nd year
  • 60 CFU/ECTS awarded during the period abroad in one of the partner Universities
  • 2nd Ecotopia online course
  • 1st online project work
3rd year
  • 60 CFU/ECTS awarded at Ca' Foscari University of Venice
  • one activity selected between the 3° Ecotopia online course and the 2nd Summer School
  • 2nd online project work

Certificate and mobility

Certificate

Eutopia enables students to obtain the Ecotopia European Certificate, which is recognised by all partner universities, in addition to the Bachelor’s Degree.

The second-year mobility period will take place at one of the following partner Universities:

The mobility will be funded in accordance with the regulations of Ca' Foscari University.
