Selections

The online publication of the schedule of selections has full notification value for the purpose of calling candidates who will be admitted to the oral test.

No lists of candidates who have applied will be published. The PhD Office will not respond to candidates who ask to know if their application has been correctly received, but will only notify candidates via email who, for any reason, will be excluded from the competition.

With the publication of the results of the evaluation of the qualifications (or written test), the times of the interviews will be communicated. The interviews could, based on the number of candidates admitted to the oral exams, continue over the following days.
The candidate must be available, on the day and at the time established by the Examination Boards., showing the valid ID document uploaded during application.

Qualification assessment

As indicated in the call for application, minimum score for admission to interview (research proposal + qualifications) is 24/40 points.

The oral examination will be held on July, 3rd 2024, at 9.00 am.

Interviews in presence will be held at Meeting Room Delta B1, Delta Building, Scientific Campus, via Torino, 155, Mestre Venice.

Videoconferencing interviews will take place via the Zoom platform.
The schedule of interviews together with the link to the Zoom videoconference for the oral exam is published in the attachment.

The interview schedule may be modified on the basis of motivated requests and must necessarily take into account the different time zones.

The oral examination, even if held remotely, is public.
It is strictly forbidden to record or share audio, video and/or pictures of the video conferencing interview. Any violation will be prosecuted.
In order to attend  the video conferencing interview, the candidate must have a stable internet connection, a device equipped with a webcam and headphones with a microphone. In their absence, computer speakers and microphone can be used. Please mind that doing so the audio quality is greatly reduced.
As far as possible, it is recommended to place the computer in a quiet, well-lit room.

Qualification assessment

Only the candidates who have obtained at least 25/40 points in the overall assessment of their qualifications and research project are admitted to the oral exam.

Interviews will take place on June, 28th 2024 at Aula Partesotti, Campus San Giobbe Plesso E Venice, from 9.00 AM.

The Commission, hoping for face-to-face interviews as far as possible, communicates that the videoconference interviews will take place via the Zoom platform. The interview schedule via videoconference will be communicated to the candidates by the Commission together with the Zoom videoconference link for the oral exam.

The schedule of interviews may possibly be modified on the basis of justified requests and must necessarily take into account the different time zones.

Qualification assessment

As indicated in the call for application, minimum score for admission to interview (research proposal + qualifications) is 45/75 points.

The oral examination will be held on June, 17th and 18th 2024.

Only the candidates who have obtained at least 24/35 points in the written examination are admitted to the oral examination.

The oral exam will be held on Monday 17th June 2024 starting at 2 PM and will continue on Tuesday 18th and Wednesday 19th June 2024.

Oral interviews in presence will take place at Room Milone, III floor, Dip. Studi Umanistici Malcanton Marcorà, Dorsoduro 3484/D Venezia.

The oral interviews will be held on 3 July 2024 and will continue on 4 July 2024 and 5 July 2024, considering the number of candidates admitted to the test.
