Ca’ Foscari Short Film Festival
March 19-22, 2025 (pre-opening: March 18)

The Ca' Foscari Short Film Festival is the first European film festival composed of a team of university students under the guidance of a staff of Professors in film studies and professionals from the world of cinema, with the artistic direction and overall organization of Maria Roberta Novielli. Our initiative results in an International competition open to film students from all over the world, which has become an important landmark for those involved in film studies. We promote the dissemination of the most relevant developments in cinematography and transmedia communication, collaborating with authoritative film schools and international distributors. Every year we host producers, scholars, directors and actors of high international standing in our jury and as special guests.

In addition to the International Competition, the Ca’ Foscari Short Film Festival also includes the High School Competition dedicated to short films directed by high school students from all over the world and an International Music Video Competition directed by students from film schools and universities from all over the world.
