  • ‘Closer’ by Augustė Gerikaitė (Lithuania) is the winner of the International Competition of the Ca’ Foscari Short Film Festival 2024.
  • Two awards for the Italians: We Should All Be Futurists by Angela Norelli receives the “WeShort” Special Mention for the work that offers the best experimentation in cinematographic languages, while the animation La Notte from the CSC of Turin wins the award for best animation
  • The first Kyrgyz short in the history of the festival, Romeo by Tynystan Temirzhan, wins the “National Cinema Museum” Special Mention and the one for best photography
  • The Syrian Father’s Footsteps wins the best screenplay, the Iranian Baggage the best soundtrack, while the award for multiculturalism goes to the Indian Alvida – The Last Goodbye. Best interpretation for Jonathan Lade, protagonist of the German Fragments Of Us.
  • You Will Forget In A Week - Let Me Have Peace by the Russian Ekaterina Nikiforova triumphs at the Music Video Competition.
  • Heroine by Gabriela Čížková (Czech Republic) wins the High School Competition.
