Pubblications
The Committee also edits a series of publications, issued by Edizioni Ca' Foscari: “Ricerche su genere e inclusione tra accademia e società” (“Research on gender and inclusion between academia and society”)
The series "Research on gender and inclusion between academia and society" was born on the initiative of the Equal Opportunities, Employees’ Well-being and Inclusion Committee (CUG) of the Ca' Foscari University.
It collects research and studies relating to the issue of gender differences, from an intersectional perspective. The series deals with a wide range of topics, from gender inequalities to equal opportunity policies, from multiple and intersectional discriminations to their contrast, according to different research and disciplinary approaches.
It aims to explore these themes in the working context, with specific attention also to the academic field. The series therefore addresses issues such as access to work, treatment and working conditions, professional training, safety at work, organizational well-being, the conciliation between professional and personal life and the issue of gender violence in the workplace.
These themes correspond to some of the most current study and research debates in the field of human and social sciences, to which this series will be dedicated. It enhances the contamination between academia and society and will have as its object both the analysis of social and policy interventions and the theoretical discussion.
Events and initiatives
The Committee also participates, co-finances and organizes cultural initiatives and events, to promote equal opportunities and inclusion within the Ca' Foscari community.
