Erasmus+ funding opportunities

The Erasmus+ Programme consists of Key Actions, which gather together several funding opportunities on the basis of common objectives and management methods. The Programme aims to support projects focused on Education and Training rather than Research.
Key Actions, conditions for participating, regulations and further information are detailed in the Erasmus+ Programme Guide, published every autumn.
Key Actions are divided into: “centralised” Actions, directly managed by the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), and “decentralised” Actions, whose management is delegated to the Erasmus+ National Agencies. The National Agency responsible for Italy is Agenzia Nazionale Erasmus+ INDIRE [ITA].

The Erasmus+ Programme 2021-2027 is a key component supporting the objectives of the European Education Area, the Digital Education Action Plan 2021-2027, the European Union Youth Strategy, and the European Union Work Plan for Sport (2021-2024).
E+ 2021-2027 has the following priorities:

  • Inclusion and Diversity
  • Digital transformation
  • Environment and fight against climate change
  • Participation in democratic life, common values, and civic engagement
