Network for student well-being inaugurates on World Mental Health Day

On October 10th, a framework agreement was signed at Ca' Tron by ULSS 3 Serenissima, ESU, the Venetian universities Ca’ Foscari and Iuav, Accademia di Belle Arti, Conservatorio Benedetto Marcello, and IUSVE. The aim of this agreement is to establish a local network of services to support the mental health and well-being of students and the entire academic community.

Student mobility for Afghan women with Geneva Graduate Institute

Starting from the academic year 2024-2025, through an agreement signed in February between Ca' Foscari University of Venice and Geneva Graduate Institute, female students of Afghan nationality will have the opportunity to participate in a bilateral exchange programme providing scholarships in memory of Maria Rosario Lazzati Niada.

Ca' Foscari signs cooperation agreement with Kansai Medical University

Considering the areas of common interest and shared academic goals in terms of teaching and research, the two Universities have decided to formalize a Memorandum of Understanding that will encourage joint programmes, student mobility, Knowledge Transfer, PhD and research collaboration. 

QS Europe Rankings: excellent results for Ca’ Foscari in student mobility

This year, Ca' Foscari University of Venice has once again confirmed its position as one of the top universities in Europe for number of outbound exchange students, and ranked sixth among the institutions assessed in the new edition of the QS Europe University Rankings.

Hidden Venice: the app to discover the city through the lens of history

Available for free, the Hidden Venice smartphone app is a high-level scientific IT product, created by Prof. Fabrizio Nevola (University of Exeter) with a research team, starting with a visiting professorship at Ca' Foscari University Venice at the Venice Centre for Digital and Public Humanities (VeDPH), which funded the project. 

Summer closure 2024 - University venues and libraries

Ca' Foscari University's facilities will close from Saturday, 10 August to Sunday, 18 August 2024, and reopen on Monday, 19 August. Libraries: in July and August there are changes in the opening hours and additional closure dates.

QS World University Rankings: best result ever for Ca' Foscari

In the QS World University Rankings 2025, Ca' Foscari achieved its best result ever, moving up 50 positions from the previous year's ranking. The university now ranks in the 601-610 bracket out of over 1500 institutions evaluated. This progress can be attributed to top performance in sustainability and a high number of international faculty members.

University closures around 25 April and 1 May 2024

The venues of Ca' Foscari University in Venice, Mestre and Treviso will be closed from Thursday 25 April to Saturday 27 April 2024 for Liberation Day. They are open with regular hours on 29 and 30 April, and will close again on Wednesday, 1 May 2024 for Labour Day.
