Economic Statistics

Let’s talk about you: what is your background, what do you teach, and what are your research interests?

My name is Claudio Pizzi. I’m an associate professor in Economic Statistics. I became a researcher after gaining some experience in the public sector (Regional Prices and Consumption Observatory Veneto) and in the private sector (Asset and Liability Management of Banca Popolare Veneta).

My research revolves around studying financial time series from theoretical and practical perspectives, financial trading models, and artificial intelligence in the field of finance. Collaborating with colleagues from different departments has made me become more and more interested in transversal skills, and now I’m part of the Ca’ Foscari Competency Centre.
