Graduation Ceremony

The awarding of PhD diplomas usually takes place during a ceremony held annually in the months of May/June.

Those who do not participate in the ceremony can collect their diploma personally from the Postgraduate Careers Sector, by booking, or request its delivery.

You can collect your Diploma by booking an appointment and going to the Postgraduate Careers Sector: remember to bring a valid identity document with you.

To speed up operations, we ask you to fill in the specific online form "Request your diploma" [ITA].
You will need to attach in a single pdf file:

  • scan of a valid identity document
  • if you obtained your PhD before 2011, the receipt of the online payment of the 16.00 Euro revenue stamp.

You can delegate a person to the collection as long as they also present themselves with:

  • proxy on unstamped paper signed by you;
  • an identity document;
  • a photocopy of your identity document.

If you want to request the delivery of the diploma by courier, you will have to fill in the specific online form "Request your diploma" [ITA] and attach it in a single pdf file:

  • a photocopy of your valid identity document
  • if you obtained your PhD before 2011, the receipt of the online payment of the 16.00 Euro revenue stamp.
  • the receipt of the online payment of the shipment:
    •  13.00 Euros for shipping to Italy
    •  26.00 Euros for shipping in Europe
    •  45.00 Euros for shipping to non-EU countries.

In case of loss of the original diploma, you can request a duplicate from the Postgraduate Administration by submitting an application by filling in the form "Request your diploma" [ITA] and attaching:

  • copy of the declaration of loss or substitutive declaration of the deed of notoriety, made in accordance with the D.P.R. 445/2000;
  • the fixed contribution for the duplicate of 87 Euros, it includes 16.00 Euros of stamp duty for the presentation of the duplicate application, 16.00 Euros of stamp duty for the issuance of the diploma and 55.00 Euros of fixed fees secretariat.

You can send your request by e-mail to postlauream@unive.it.

You will be notified by e-mail of the issue of the duplicate diploma.

Also for the collection of the duplicate diploma it is necessary to book the day and time of collection through the appropriate online procedure, or request its shipment according to the methods indicated above.
