The Master's programme in offered by the Venice School of Management prepares you to become a key player in cultural and creative organizations. IMaCC was created with the goal of:

  • Understanding the process of building symbolic value in advanced economic systems, focusing on design-driven innovation.
  • Conceiving management as a bridge between the humanities and scientific disciplines, capable of generating innovation through a design-driven approach.
  • Promoting dialogue transcending sectoral and organizational boundaries, connecting international supply chains with local expertise, private entrepreneurship with public cultural and educational institutions.

You will study in a unique cultural context, Venice – a true natural hub for culture and innovation, also a city facing complex challenges in sustainability, technology, and heritage, with its strengths and contradictions.

With IMaCC, you will develop the ability to tackle innovation challenges, plan branding and marketing strategies for high symbolic value products and services, and manage complex projects in dynamic and international contexts. Finally, the interdisciplinary approach will allow you to successfully face global challenges, preparing you for diverse roles in various cultural sectors.

Double Degrees are integrated programs designed in collaboration with foreign universities, including a period of study and examinations at the partner institution. Upon successful completion, you will receive one diploma from Ca’ Foscari University and one from the partner university. Thanks to collaborations with a wide network of companies cultural institutions, and professionals in the cultural sector, the program offers you the opportunity for direct learning and connections with excellence-driven organizations.

The partner companies range from traditional artisans, representing Venice’s centuries-old craft heritage, to creative and digital enterprises, and organizations involved in the management and enhancement of artistic and cultural heritage. These collaborations will allow you to immerse yourself in concrete projects, address real-world challenges, and develop soft skills.

Some courses participate in the Experior training programmes. These programmes use methods such as Design Thinking, Lean Startup, and Business Model Design to allow you to apply your knowledge to real business cases, addressing challenges posed by VSM’s partner companies.

Through the Career Service, you can select a company where you will complete a short-term internship.
