The programme at a glance

1

this programme builds managerial skills relevant to the hospitality sector, along with knowledge of digital transformation and sustainable tourism services. You will develop a comprehensive understanding of tourism, exploring its social, economic, cultural, anthropological, and environmental dimensions

2

you will acquire practical operational skills through a robust blend of theoretical lessons, hands-on workshops, interactions with industry professionals, and three internship periods—one in each year—at companies within the industry, facilitating a smooth transition into the job market. Collaboration with the Fondazione Scuola Italiana di Ospitalità (SIO), Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, and TH Resorts ensures direct business connections

3

the programme emphasises an international perspective. It is taught entirely in English, features courses in a second European language, and provides the chance to undertake an international internship in the third year

After graduation

you will have the opportunity to work as a middle manager, undertaking operational and managerial roles across various sectors of the hospitality industry in Italy and abroad. Possible workplaces include hotels and their internal departments (such as marketing, ICT, food and beverage, guest relations, events, etc.), destination management organisations, and tourism-related public bodies

you will also have opportunities in managing tourism businesses, with expertise in financial management, marketing, human resources within hospitality, and digital skills. This encompasses big data analysis, managing sales channels for tourism services, OTAs (Online Travel Agencies), and digital marketing strategies across the web and social media
