Additional Learning Requirements (OFA)

OFA in Logic - Mathematics

Admission to the Hospitality Innovation and e-Tourism degree programme requires adequate knowledge of  mathematics, logic, and reading comprehension.

Your knowledge of mathematics, logic, and reading comprehension will be tested during the TOLC-E or English TOLC-E entry test – candidates who do not achieve a minimum score of 9 out of 36 will be assigned an Additional Learning Requirement – ALR (Obbligo Formativo Aggiuntivo – OFA) in logic-mathematics. Please note that the English language section is excluded from the total score.

Candidates who passed a SAT test with a score of 955 or more out of 1600 or a GMAT test with a score of 490 or more out of 800 are exempted from the Additional Learning Requirement (OFA) in logic-mathematics.

If you do not fulfill the OFA by September 30th, 2026, you will not be allowed to take any exams included in your study plan until its fulfillment.

How to fulfil the OFA

If you have been assigned the logic - mathematics OFA, you can fulfil it as follows:

  • Successfully passing the course CT9000 - Logic and Mathematical Reasoning. Throughout the first academic year, the University schedules five exam sessions for the fulfilment of the OFA. The first session is planned at the end of the relative course. The following four sessions are arranged at the end of each period.
  • Successfully passing the TOLC-E or English TOLC-E scoring more than 9/36 (the English language section is excluded from the total score).
Exemption from the Logic - Mathematics OFA

You will not be assigned the OFA in Mathematics if you:

  • Obtained credit recognition for at least 3 CFU in mathematics when enrolling;
  • Passed the TOLC-E or English TOLC-E admission test with more 9/36 (the English language section is excluded from the total score);
  • Passed the SAT scoring at least 955/1600 or the GMAT scoring at least 490/800. 

English Language

A minimum B2-level knowledge of English is mandatory for enrolment. You can demonstrate your English knowledge level by submitting one of the recognised certifications or if you fall within one of the exemption categories.

If you do not satisfy the English language requirement at the time of enrolment, you will be assigned an English B2 Additional Learning Requirement- ALR (Obbligo Formativo Aggiuntivo – OFA) that must be satisfied by the end of your first year of study (deadline of October 1st, 2026). 

If you do not fulfill the OFA before October 1st, 2026, you will not be allowed to take any exams included in your study plan until its fulfillment.
