Waterways

WATERWAYS is a project of literary and artistic residences promoted and organized by the International College of Ca’ Foscari University in continuity with the previous Waterlines project.

The initiative offers a residential experience at the Camplus Venezia Santa Marta to writers and artists of any nationality and language capable of combining their creativity in an interdisciplinary manner, offering the students of the International College an innovative perspective on the contemporary world’s critical issues.

The resident is called upon to share their expertise in seminars dedicated to the students of the College, as well as in international public meetings, sharing moments of reflection and insight with the whole of the citizens about their literary and/or artistic experience, their cultural background, and their creative practices.

During the seminars, the resident will work closely with the students of the College,fostering dialogue and debate in a laboratory and educational setting. Additionally, in agreement with the WATERWAYS organization, the residents may document their Venetian residential experience through their personal form of expression (an essay, a short story, a poem, a diary, or another form of art).
