International programmes

Ca’ Foscari is committed to making its university community both international and internationally minded. As a result, we offer a wide range of degree programmes entirely taught in English as well as double and joint degree programmes in partnership with some of our most prestigious university partners in order to ensure that the world makes its way into the classroom thanks to the presence of students from across the globe and that domestic students can learn in a more global context.

Double - Joint Degrees

Ca' Foscari University of Venice offers international educational programmes designed in collaboration with one or more partner universities, entailing the attendance of part of the study path abroad. At the conclusion of these programmes, selected students obtain a Double Degree (a diploma from Ca' Foscari and one issued by the partner university) or a Joint Degree (single degree jointly awarded by the member universities of the consortium delivering the programme), depending on the provisions of the agreements with the partner universities and the different national regulations.

Doctoral degrees in English

Of the wide range of doctoral degrees offered by Ca' Foscari, almost half can be carried out using English as the language of study and research.

Professional master’s programmes taught in English

Ca’ Foscari’s Challenge School offers professional master’s programmes for graduates and professionals looking to hone their knowledge and skills in various fields, a selection of which are taught in English.

Venice International University (VIU)

Venice International University (VIU) is an international network of universities founded by Ca’ Foscari in 1995 with the aim to offer students and professors opportunities of advanced education and training and other academic and scientific initiatives with an interdisciplinary approach.
