International Research Office - Senior Research Manager
Support to the submission and management of individual project proposals (ERC grants, MSCA proposals, Private Foundations), with detailed reviews on the scientific proposal, as well as administrative parts and ethics issues;
Support to the implementation of policies for the career development of researchers;
Scouting of funding opportunities, communication and dissemination activities;
Organisation of training courses and events on EU funding opportunities and on project design and management;
Teaching and tutoring on EU project design and EU funding opportunities (academic courses for researchers at any career level);
Teaching and tutoring on EU project design and EU funding opportunities in the frame of courses organised by the Venetian Institute for Cultural Heritage and the National Institute for Social Security.
Appointments:
Since 2021: Appointed member of the Ethics Committee and the Research Ethics Subcommittee of Ca' Foscari University of Venice https://www.unive.it/pag/35108/ in particular with functions of evaluating the ethical aspects, Ethics Deliverables and the management of data in the frame of EU-funded research projects. Appointed member of the HRS4R working group of Ca' Foscari University of Venice.
Since 2016: Assessor, Rapporteur and Lead assessor in the European Commission's process 'HRS4R: Human Resource Strategy for Researchers' and other competitive calls under the European Research and Innovation Programme 'Horizon 2020' and 'Horizon Europe'; Assessor in the frame of the European Association of Research Managers and Administrators (EARMA).
Invited speaker at several infodays on researchers' mobility. Examples: SISSCO Seminar (Italian Society of Scholars in Contemporary History) on MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships (16 March 2022); MSCA National contact points' Meeting in Venice (26-27 March 2019) "IF: How to Attract Researchers and How to advise on MSCA-IF proposal writing" & " Open Science and Open Data" Trainings; Infoday: Towards Horizon Europe - MSCA Padova, Italy 25 March 2019;
