Born in Venice on 19/04/1982. She attended Ca' Foscari University of Venice, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Cultural Heritage Conservation in 2004, with a thesis entitled "Strategie di romanizzazione: Claudio e la Britannia tra conquista militare e politica urbanistica" and in 2006 a Master's degree in Ancient History, with a thesis entitled "Donne ed eserciti tra novitas e mos maiorum." During the academic year 2003/2004, she participated in the project "Fondo sociale europeo - Expert in Archaeological Research Methods and Techniques," sponsored by the Ministero del Lavoro e delle Politiche Sociali with the Regione Veneto and Ca' Foscari University of Venice. In 2010, she earned a Ph.D. from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Milano, with a research project aimed at investigating the dynamics of women's political participation in Roman society between the 3rd and 2nd centuries BCE. Since 2010, she has been a teaching assistant for courses in Roman History and Roman Historiography. In 2011, she spent a research period in Paris, at the Université Paris Ouest Nanterre La Défense, the École Pratique des Hautes Études, the École Normale Supérieure, the Centre Gustave-Glotz, and the Institut National d’Histoire de l’Art. In May 2013, she obtained a Ph.D. from Ca' Foscari University with a thesis entitled "Il partito degli sconfitti: la factio di Agrippina Maggiore all'esordio del principato." She was a research fellow (2012/2013) with a project entitled "Prosopografia della romanizzazione: il caso del «Venetorum angulus»'" and in 2014/2015 with a project entitled "Ottavia Minore tra mos maiorum e trasformazione: il ruolo pubblico e l'influenza politica della sorella di Ottaviano Augusto" at Ca' Foscari University of Venice. In the academic year 2013/2014, she was awarded the Research Prize, given by Ca' Foscari University of Venice to enhance and recognize excellence in research. In the biennium 2015-2017, she was the Principal Investigator of the project "Tra innovazione e tradizione: il ruolo pubblico delle donne della domus principio all'esordio del principato," funded by Ca' Foscari University of Venice. In 2015, she obtained teaching certification for the A051 class (Literature and Latin in higher education institutions). In the academic year 2016/2017, she was a fellow at the Italian Institute for Ancient History. In 2016, she won the Teaching Competition Miur DDG 106 of 23/02/2016 for the A011, A012, and A022 classes. From September 1, 2017, to July 31, 2023, she was a permanent teacher at E. Majorana - E. Corner High School in Mirano. She is currently a Researcher (RTD-b).
