Claudio Calosi is a Professor of Philosophy at Ca'Foscari University of Venice, and a Visiting Professor at USI, Lugano—MAP. He was an Assistant Professor at the University of Geneva, and Visiting Faculty at Oxford, Leeds, Lisbon, UNAM (Mexico City), Trento and Perugia. He works mainly in Analytic Metaphysics, Philosophical Logic, and Philosophy of Physics. The results of his research have been published in journals such as Philosophy and Phenomenological Research, Journal of Philosophical Logic, Philosophical Studies, Philosophical Quarterly, Analysis, Stanford Encyclopedia of PhilosophyPhilosophy of Science, British Journal for the Philosophy of ScienceStudies in History and Philosophy of Modern PhysicsFoundations of Physics, to mention a few. He is currently working (with prof. Fabrice Correia, Geneva) on a manuscript on the logic and metaphysics of location, under contract with Oxford University Press. 

He is one of the founder of AMAMI (Italian Association for Analytic Metaphysics). He is part of the steering committe of the TiPS Center (Trust in Philosophy and Science) at Ca' Foscari, where he is also the research coordinator for the research area: Formal Methods in Philosophy and Science.
