Bruno Perez Almansi, PhD, is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Venice School of Management, Università Ca’ Foscari Venezia, where he also serves as the Institutional Relations Director of the Center for Automotive and Mobility Innovation (CAMI). He is a Researcher at the Observatory on the Transformations of the Italian Automotive Ecosystem (OTEA) and an Associate Researcher at the Group on the Challenges of Green Growth (Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies and Diego Portales University) and the Center of Social Studies of the Economy (Escuela Interdisciplinaria de Altos Estudios Sociales, Universidad Nacional de San Martín). He is Prof. of the course "Transport History" at the master Mobility Studies of the University of Padova. Bruno holds a PhD in Economic Development from the National University of Quilmes, Argentina. His research focuses on global value chains, industrial policy, sustainable economic development, with a particular emphasis on the automotive industry and the transition to electromobility. His work has been published in journals such as Business History, Journal of Latin American Studies, Latin American Business Review, Industrial History Review and ECLAC Review. Additionally, Bruno has been recognized for his contributions to the study of industrial and regional development with awards from the Senate of Buenos Aires and the Red Pymes conference.
