Title of the project: "The value of corporate education. In search of multi-dimensional performance indicators".
Traditional performance measurement tools, mostly relying upon financial ratios, cannot always capture and measure the benefits deriving from investments in education and human capital. This project aims to analyze a sample of industrial/manufacturing companies that recently invested in education projects. The research is intended to ultimately identify new performance indicators arising from the financial statements, in order to measure eventual performance increases due to such investments in education. Moreover: the research project aims to develop a multidimensional impact assessment model of the specific measures implemented by the public policy makers in support of continuing education in companies aimed at increasing the company's competitiveness through the development of human capital and innovation, the reorganization and qualification of skills.
