Lorenzo Feltrin is a post-doctoral researcher with a Marie Curie Global Fellowship titled "Labour and Ecology in an International Perspective: Porto Marghera in the Phosphates Archipelago". His research interests are in the areas of labour, political economy and social movements. In 2019, he passed his viva at the University of Warwick with a PhD thesis on the relations between labour unions and social mobilisations in Morocco and Tunisia. He then worked as a research assistant at the same university for the ERC project "Exploring toxic expertise, the petrochemical industry and environmental justice", in which he focused on the work-ecology nexus with case studies in Grangemouth (Scozia) and Porto Marghera (Italy). Between 2021 and 2024, he was a Leverhulme Early Career Fellow at the University of Birmingham with a project on struggles against noxiousness in Ventanas (Chile) and Porto Marghera.
