In 2018 I completed the bachelor in Chemistry and Sustainable Technologies and in 2020 I obtained the master degree in Science and Technology of Bio and Nanomaterials from the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. In the same year, I started a PhD in Environmental Sciences in co-participation with the Institute on Membrane Technology (ITM-CNR) and in collaboration with the Green Chemistry Center of Excellence (GCCE) in York (UK) and the University of Bath (UK). During my career I actively collaborated with the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC), contributing in the realization of a technical report on the utilization of Green Metrics in organic synthesis. In 2024 I was awarded the “Cinzia Chiappe” prize for the best PhD thesis in Green and Sustainable Chemistry awarded by the Italian Chemical Society (SCI). In addition, I have been selected as one of the Italian representative IUPAC Young Observer (years 2024-2025) to participate to the next IUPAC General Assembly in Kuala Lumpur in 2025. At the moment I am working as a research fellow at the department of Environmental Sciences, Informatics and Statistics (DAIS) at the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. My research is manly focused on the development of new synthetic procedures for the production of bio-based platform chemicals, biopolymers and green solvents. I am co-author of 12 articles published on peer-reviewed journals, 3 poster communications and 9 oral presentations at national and international conferences and workshops.
