After graduating cum laude in Italianistics, European Literary Cultures and Linguistic Sciences (LM-14 - MODERN PHILOLOGY) at the University of Bologna in 2019, I obtained, in 2024, my PhD degree in Modern Languages, Cultures and Societies and Language Sciences (Curriculum: Language Sciences) from the Department of Comparative Linguistic and Cultural Studies at Ca' Foscari University Venice, and, since 2024, I have been a research fellow at the same department. During the last year of my PhD I spent a nine-month period at the Université de Genève, where I obtained the Certificat de Spécialisation en Linguistique, with a mémoire on language acquisition.
My doctoral project focused on the Instrument thematic role in Italian and its acquisition by typically developing Italian-speaking children, while the project I am currently working on (i.e., PRIN project Computational and Linguistic bEnchmarks for the study of VErb argument structuRe (CLEVER)), regards the semantic-syntax interface and, in particular, argument structures of verbs.
Between 2020 and 2024, I worked as a teaching assistant for various courses: General Linguistics 1 (a.y. 2022/2023), and 2 (a.y. 2020/2021 and 2023/2024), and Linguistics for Deafness and Language Impairments (a.y. 2021/2022).
