Francesco Eugenio Iannuzzi is a researcher in Labour Sociology. He obtained his PhD in Social Sciences at the University of Padua in 2018 and has been a postdoc research fellow at the University of Padua and Ca' Foscari University of Venice. He has conducted research on labour in tourism, the impact of digital technology on industrial work, teleworking, performing arts workers and the transformations of the shipbuilding industry. He has published numerous articles in journals such as Sociologia del Lavoro, Economic and Industrial Democracy, European Urban and Regional Studies, New Technology, Work and Employment, Revue Relations industrielles/Industrial Relations etc. He has participated as a researcher in several national and international research projects funded by the European Commission, the Veneto Region, the Norwegian Research Council and others. His research interests primarily revolve around the intricate interplay between Labour Processes, Social Reproduction, and Institutions. Additionally, he explores the intersection between the social division of workers and the (technical) division of labour, delving into topics like outsourcing and its implications on working conditions, worker representation and organization, as well as labour market segmentation and solidarity processes.
