I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Ca' Foscari University of Venice, working on the INEST project, which focuses on assesing the combined impact of climate and land-use changes on freshwater quality in mountain regions. My work integrates AI approaches, including machine learning and machine reasoning. I hold a Ph.D. in Science and Management of Climate Change from Ca' Foscari University. My research interest spans multiple domains, including probabilistic risk assessment, water quality sustainability, climate change impact assessment and ecosystem services mapping. The ultimate goal of my work is to develop tools that support the operationalization of integrated water resource management frameworks on the ground, facilitating the adaptation of water systems to the global changes they are facing. My professional journey includes being awarded the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship at the Basque Center for Climate Change (BC3), where I applied AI techniques to assess ecosystem services in terrestrial and freshwater environments. I am also an affiliated researcher at the Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Change (CMCC), with whom I have collaborated for the past 10 years. I am an active member of the Ecosystem Services Partnership (ESP), the European Geosciences Union (EGU) and an alumna of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship program.
