The course provides the analytical tools to understand how to assess the business models of companies and to identify the advantages and disadvantages of certain strategic choices. The course provides the student references on how digital business models operate, their main strategies and how to look for efficiency and effectiveness in their business performance.

Assessment methods
The first part of the exam consists of 30 questions with multiple-choice answers on the course contents. Each correct answer is worth 15 points.
The second part of the exam consists of an individual assignment. Each student will have to identify and analyze a start-up operating in a field to be defined for each element of the business model. The project work must be sent by a defined date and will be evaluated up to a maximum of 15 points.
The final grade will be determined by the sum of the scores of the two parts making up the exam.
During the course, more information will be made available regarding the technical methods of the exam.

A. scores in the 18-22 range will be awarded in the presence of:
- sufficient knowledge and ability to understand applied about the program;
- limited ability to collect and/or interpret data, formulating independent judgments;
- sufficient communication skills, especially about the use of specific language that pertains to the economic functioning of companies;
B. scores in the 23-26 range will be awarded in the presence of:
- fair knowledge and ability to understand applied about the program;
- fair ability to collect and/or interpret data, formulating independent judgments;
- fair communication skills, especially about the use of specific language that pertains to the economic functioning of companies;
C. scores in the 27-30 range will be awarded in the presence of:
- good or excellent knowledge and ability to understand applied about the program;
- good or excellent ability to collect and/or interpret data, formulating independent judgments;
- Fully appropriate communication skills, especially when using specific language pertaining to companies' economic functioning.
D. honors will be awarded in the presence of knowledge and understanding skills applied to the program, judgment skills, and communication skills, excellent.
