This course is mandatory for the Masters' Degree Course and, consistently with its aims, it provides the student with the capability to analyze, diagnose and design the human resource management process, also accordingly to an international perspective. More in detail, this course aims at developing the capability to understand and analyze the main advanced problems regarding strategic human resources management, according to two perspectives: the first concerns the processes of human resource management based on competencies and their impact on individual performance, and the second deals with the issues of human resource management in the internationalization processes. In this way, this course aims to encourage the learning of key practices, models and tools based on competencies, used to strategically manage human resources, and then focuses on the implications arising from international assignments and their managerial, cultural and institutional peculiarities.
Knowledge: definition and content of the human resource management processes; International HRM and expatriate management; issues related to international staffing, pre-departure training, performance management, international compensation, intercultural management; processes and tools for competency-based HRM.
Abilities: to analyze, diagnose and design effective, efficient and fair human resource management processes; to diagnose the organizational issues that may impact on international HRM processes.

Per quanto riguarda la gradazione del voto (modalità con cui saranno assegnati i voti), a prescindere dalla modalità frequentante o non frequentante:
A. punteggi nella fascia 18-22 verranno attribuiti in presenza di:
- sufficiente conoscenza e capacità di comprensione applicata in riferimento al programma;
- limitata capacità di applicare conoscenza e comprensione nella valutazione degli approcci alla gestione delle risorse umane;
- sufficienti capacità di analisi e valutazione critica dell’adozione dei processi HR;
B. punteggi nella fascia 23-26 verranno attribuiti in presenza di:
- discreta conoscenza e capacità di comprensione applicata in riferimento al programma;
- discreta capacità di applicare conoscenza e comprensione nella valutazione degli approcci alla gestione delle risorse umane;
- discreta capacità di analisi e valutazione critica dell’adozione dei processi HR;
C. punteggi nella fascia 27-30 verranno attribuiti in presenza di:
- buona o ottima conoscenza e capacità di comprensione applicata in riferimento al programma;
- buona o ottima capacità di applicare conoscenza e comprensione nella valutazione degli approcci alla gestione delle risorse umane;
- buona o ottima capacità di analisi e valutazione critica dell’adozione dei processi HR;
D. la lode verrà attribuita in presenza di conoscenza e capacità di comprensione applicata in riferimento al programma, capacità di giudizio, eccellenti.
