Students will acquire the basic tools needed to conceive, analyses and execute a corporate event with theatre features.
Know and know how to use the essential reference terminology.
Ability to distinguish between different methods of design approach.
Ability to articulate a creative theatrical process.
Extension of the expressive and communicative ability.
No specific prerequisite is needed.
The selected students will study the corporate theatre, starting from its first applications in Canada, by Christian Poissonneau with his Thèâtre à la carte, to the Italian experience of Paolo Vergnani. A number of Italian approaches conceived by leading operators will be studied.
At the same time, the Professor will provide the stuents with basic notions on a number of theatrical styles, the role of actors, the grammar of the stage and on managing live performances.
Subsequently, proposals on educational projects, corporate storytelling and events will be analyzed.
Students will undertake a number of practical exercises to enhance their creativity, and boost their management and team skills.
After learning the basic tools, students will visit a partner company where they will gather information and study its story and development.
They will therefore conceive and present a project of corporate theatre taking into consideration the specific corporate needs.
In the final phase of the course, the participants will have the opportunity to bring their own project to life, and could use immersive devices of augmented audio reality, which allows the creation of an interactive digital performance.
The performance will be adapted to a previously identified real space, with careful attention to the presentation and communication of the event.
Throughout the process, the instructor will provide support and technical assistance to the students.
