The course is part of the basic training activities of the Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences and Social Work, and aims to experiment with the practical application of what has been learned in the Social Work Methodologies 1.
The course seeks to stimulate a critical, reflective, and practical perspective on community social work, social planning, and evaluation.
At the end of the workshop, the student will be able to combine theory and practice to professionally assess the expressed and underlying needs of individuals who seek services.
They will be able to evaluate and make design hypotheses.

For this course, it is strongly recommended to have passed the exam on Social Work Theories.
The goal is to create, through a dialectical and interactive learning process, spaces for reflection that help understand and combine the "knowing," "being," and "doing." A methodological reading of problematic situations will be provided, through the presentation of concrete cases and the development of intervention hypotheses.
The tools of assessment in social work will be put into practice, seen as a necessary process to generate learning and enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of interventions.
The texts refer to Social Work Methodologies I.

Further excerpts from original texts will be shared later on the Moodle platform and will be required readings for participation in the exercises.
There is no exam of the Laboratory of Social Work Methodologies I, but only a single exam that will be taken with the Professor who teaches the subject.
