This course encourages the learning processes starting from studies on real cases and from the achievement of workshop experiences through a professional approach to the methodologies of the social work.

The student will learn to:
- reflect upon the personal motivations and expectations related to own study choice
- investigate the deontological and ethical contents of the profession
-assess the own learning
-experience teamwork
-initiate the development of the own professional identity
- experience some professional measures and tools for social interventions
-make professional choices based on the specific methodologies relevant to social services
There are no prerequisites to partecipate the corse. However, it is recommended to already have passed the Social Work theory exam.
It will be emphasized an approach toward learning from field experience in order to realize a deep analysis of cases and circumstances with specific reference to the collective dimension of the social services and social work. It will be highly recommended the active participation of the students that will be promoted by a thoughtful approach on the laboratory activities carried out in this course as well as by the critical processing of the notions acquired during the other curricular courses.
The bibliography is the same as the bibliography of the Methodology of the Social work I course.
In this course it will not be done a specific exam. There will be the exam of the theory of social work 1 course.
