TECHNICAL DRAWING

The course is key for a civil and environmental engineer. The contents, beside being important for an environmental engineer, are essential the civil engineer. A thoughtful design process must rely on knowledge and understanding on how to report its results in proper technical drawing produced in accordance with standards and internationally readable.

The students will be able to apply the basic rules of projective and descriptive geometry to represent architectonic structure and industrial components. After the course the students will be able to:
- approach geometrical problems in the space with orthogonal and axonometric projections.
- use a proper software to produce digital drawings.

Class will be held in presence using PCs.

For the graphic part, you need to equip yourself with technical drawing material:
- 33x48 or larger sheets, smooth and not squared;
- pencils of different hardness 4h, h;
- pair of technical drawing set square, ruler, protractor, french curves;
- compass;
- rubber, pencil sharpener, etc.
