The "Exercise" part of the Principles of Management and International Accounting course is constructed with a high level of interaction in mind.

The cases covered span across the entire programme of the course, and offer not only the opportunity to connect theories and notions encountered during class with real-life examples, but also a setting in which to practice both public speaking and critical thinking.
There are no formal prerequisites for this course. However, a prior knowledge of organizational and managerial issues would facilitate the understanding of the topics discussed in class.
CASE LIST

- Week 1: Ryanair (Chapter 1);

- Week 2: BBC (Chapter 3);

- Week 3: IKEA (Chapter 5);

- Week 4: Amazon (The case is in Chapter 18, but we'll use it in reference to Chapters 8 & 10);

- Week 5: NHS England (Chapter 20).
Questions related to the case studies we cover will make up one third of the Module 1 exam (i.e. 5 questions out of 15).
The classes will require the active participation of students in order to proceed. As such, students are expected to study in advance the materials.
