The course covers the fundamentals of computer networks, particularly the Internet.
The last part will examine the information technology service company to monitor, plan and manage integrated all activities typical of a company.
The student will be aware of the network protocols which support data communication and service sharing through the Internet.
As a prerequisite, the student should be equipped by some basics computer science notions and by logic and mathematical abstraction skills. In the first week of lessons any gaps related to basic computer skills will be filled.

The final exam will consist of about ten questions, of similar difficulty, covering the different topics covered in the course and aimed at verifying both some basic technical knowledge and the ability to develop solutions to real problems. Each question will be assigned a rating based on the correctness and completeness of the answer given. The final grade is calculated as the sum of the ratings of the individual questions. Among the material made available to students there are exam texts from previous sessions with correct solutions.
The teaching will be supported by powerpoint slides and videos, that will be discussed with students in class.
