This is one of the activities present in every curricula of the Corsi di Laurea in "Filosofia", "Lettere", "Storia", "Lingue, Culture e Società dell'Asia e dell'Africa Mediterranea", "Lingue, civiltà e scienze del linguaggio", "Mediazione linguistica e culturale".
The course contributes to the attainment of the teaching goals of the CdS in the area of computer skills.
The course aims to provide: basic knowledge on the use of IT tools; IT skills for a responsible use of new disruptive technologies, such as machine learning and generative artificial intelligence.
Knowledge and Understanding:
Basic knowledge of computer systems and artificial intelligence
Basic knowledge of problem-solving and programming

The test takes place in presence in the computer science lab of the university.

Exam description:
Each candidate must answer 15 multiple-choice questions based on the course content.
Each question has four possible answers, of which only one is correct: the candidate must select only one answer.
The candidate has 20 minutes to complete and submit the answers.
There is only one attempt allowed for the exam quiz.
Each correct answer is worth one point, while unanswered or incorrect answers neither earn nor lose points. Incorrect answers are not penalized.
To pass the exam, the candidate must correctly answer at least 9 out of 15 questions.
The course is delivered online through synchronous and asynchronous lessons and interactive activities.
The student will be able to follow the interactive lessons available on the site and check their learning through scheduled meetings with the instructors.
The learning process is mainly based on individual study and practice, starting from the materials provided on the course webpage on the university's Moodle portal.
Regular online or in-person meetings with instructors and tutors are scheduled for clarifications and in-depth study of the course content.
