The course Lingua Spagnola - GRAMMATICA E CONVERSAZIONE is part of the "Commercio Estero e Turismo" economics degree and it is aimed at helping students to reach a good command of Spanish and develop good comprehension skills of economic and tourism language.
The aim of the course is to give students the opportunity to extend and improve their Spanish language skills with particular emphasis on spoken and written communication.
By the end of the course, students will have learned how to:
- use correctly basic language to talk about Tourism and Economics.
- have a basic conversation in Spanish.
- give a group or an individual presentation;
domestic and international economic trends, foreign trade and stock exchange performance; understand the latest trends in the worlds of Economics and international Business and Tourism.
Students must have the A1/A2 level at the beginning of the course LINGUA SPAGNOLA - ESAME (2nd Semester) otherwise it's necessary to intensify the hours of the excercises organised at the 1st Semester

Comprehension and knowledge of the Spanish language by learning in general the economic and touristic vocabulary. Analysis and acquisition of the grammatical structures as well as essential lexicon.
The lessons are held in Spanish.
During the course students will have the opportunity to read authentic texts, watch videos, debate, discuss and comment on a variety of topics, including:

- The various types of tourism and their characteristics
- Sustainable tourism
- Describing a City - City PowerPoint Presentation
- The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development

A collection of readings and exercises will be available prior to each lesson. It is essential that students download this material from the Moodle Platform on the professor's homepage and bring it to each lesson
To verify the students' knowledge, a written exam will be held. The written exam is about the grammatical skills and the specific vocabulary that have been previously acquired. During the written exam the use of books, dictionaries or any support whatsoever is not allowed. More information will be given by the teacher of Lingua Spagnola Esame Course in the second
semester.
Frontal lessons with audio-visual materials.
The program is the same for attending and non-attending students.
Non-attending students are encouraged to contact the teacher at the beginning of the language training course.
