Part 1: The course aims to provide an analytical and linguistic methodology to follow and interpret the dynamics of the main and current French economic phenomena in relation to the economic-financial crises of 2008 and health, of 2020; intends to consolidate the knowledge and competence of the use of the French language, both in the written form (grammatical and lexical skills) and in the oral ability (comprehension and expression), with the approach to oral texts or transcriptions, in French, covering different sectors and various types of economic, commercial and tourism.
Part 2: The study of the nation-state "France" will be proposed according to its geography, based on some aspects of the study of the territories, combining the political, cultural, economic and social approaches, for a complete study of its morphology.
the course aims to provide a methodology for analyzing and understanding the texts of the study programme; to detect and comprehend the basic specialized terminology, to be able to use it both in written and in spoken , so to use it correctly in the producion, application and communication processes.
At the end of the course the student must prove :
1) to be able to read, understand, translate, comment, through the analytical tools used during the teacher’s course, texts such as economic -commercial ones, or tourism-related texts in French.

Starting from original French texts , the course will follow a double approach:
1) will deal with the aspects of the world monetary crisis of 2008 and its French European repercussions in the Small and Medium Enterprises, Construction and Tourism sectors;

Other material may be provided by the teacher during the course.
The teacher will communicate on the platform and during the course progress the programme studied and the parts examined of both aspects.
We recommend purchasing a French grammar (ex. Grévisse, Précis de grammaire française) and a French / Italian vocabulary (ex. Boch).

The course takes place during the second semester.
The learning examination consists of two parts :
- a written part that is composed of a grammar test prepared by the Cel teacher which is preliminary to the oral exam;
- an oral part to take with the teacher of the course.
Starting from original French texts , the course will follow a double approach: 1) will deal with the aspects of the "crisis" of 2008-2010 and following the pandemic of covid-19, in the economic, financial and tourism sectors; 2) will analyse the documents concerning economic diplomacy and foreign trade in France. Lessons will use an integrated methodology: reading texts, translation, commentary, written and oral exercises, grammar reviews, dictation, viewing and/ or listening to authentic movies.
Assessment Grid for the French Language Exam
The French language exam consists of 2 parts:
1. A linguistic assessment, carried out by the teacher Cel, which consists in the assessment of the grammar test administered during the examination (on the model of exercises carried out in class and with an assessment of 45 points out of 60) + the evaluation of the curriculum of the student/ or/ and as a simulation of a job application (10 points on 60) + a letter of motivation in French (5 points out of 60) written by/or female students/s. Both the CV and the letter must be delivered in paper form on the day of the written test. The final grade of the written part corresponds to the sum of the 3 parts reported on 30. After passing the written test with a minimum score of 18/30 of which at least 22/45 to the grammar test, you access the oral part.
2. The oral part on the arguments explained during the course by the teacher.
