Contribution of the course to the overall degree programme goals
The object of analysis is represented by methods, examples, historic contexts and traditions, territories and spaces, perspectives and problems, technical solutions, contingencies and events which linked theatres, archives, libraries, study centers, theatre companies, collectors and artists involved in the realization of a show and afterward in the collection of documents and creation of exhibitions or museums dedicated to the performing arts.

It is a wide and varied territory to be explored not yet known whose profound suggestion is related to the need to enhance and transmit the knowledge and the memory of the performing arts as an essential part of our cultural heritage.
