Assessment methods
The final note is based 100% on the answers to the online quiz.
From academic yeear 2023-24, the acquisition of the knowledge and skills covered by the first module (Prof. Ventra) and the second module (Prof. Cupperi) will be verified by means of two tests (one per module). The tests will be held preferably on different days, but will be considered as a single examination with a single mark and only one possibility of acceptance (or rejection), relative to the overall mark. No partial marks that can be re-used in subsequent sessions will be provided any more: if a candidate does not appear for both examinations and does not successfully pass both, he/she will have to re-sit the examination. There will be four sessions per year.
Information on verbalization will be provided in the lecturer's personal "Notices", in the first lecture and on moodle.
Teaching methods
Up-to-date information will be provided during the first class of the course. Non-attending students are strongly encouraged to refer to the pdf presentation for this lesson, which will be uploaded to the moodle platform and will provide them with information on the additional readings and test modes reserved for them.
Moodle’s blackboard is the official channel for every announcement concerning the organization of the course. All the participants are requested to sign in the moodle course.
