The course of Avviamento alla traduzione editoriale, settoriale spagnola becomes a compulsory subject of the Mediazione lingüística e culturale programm. The main objective is to describe the general caracteristics and specificity of the language of specialization of five areas: Public Media Spanish, Business Spanish, Legal-Administrative Spanish, Tourist Spanish and Academic Spanish.
In each of the treated areas the specific language is described in a theoretical and practical way: linguistic properties (phonetico-phonological, morphologic, syntactic and lexical), sociolinguistic and pragmatic contexts and characteristic discursive genres. Its relationship with general Spanish as well as with related languages will also be observed. The general goal is to train ELE students to translate texts in different fields.
