This course is part of Bachelor's Degree Program in Language, Culture and Society of Asia and Mediterranean Africa. More precisely, is one of the Related or Additional Studies included among the Interdisciplinary educational activities of the program.
The course aims to provide students with an overview of the basic concepts and main economic-managerial theories that underpin business management.
By the end of the course, students will have learnt basic notions, the minimal terminology needed to understand the main phenomena revolving around business, and the main evolutionary traits that have characterised the development of business management. They will also have gained an overview of the main processes and functions of the company.

The reference texts for the examination will be available in electronic format on the Moodle platform at the beginning of the course.
It is therefore not necessary to purchase books or study handouts.
The examination is written ("pen & paper") and will be made of six (6) multiple-choice questions and two (2) open questions to be answered in 40 minutes.
Additional optional activities that will be carried out during the course might award additional points that will be added to the exam results for the final grade.
