The course contributes to the educational objectives of the Master's Degree Programme which aims at providing students with a wide range of skills as well as economic and managerial knowledge in the typical sectors of Made in Italy, including agri-food. The aim of this course is to analyze the evolution and the characteristics of the agri-food system supplying theoretical and operational instruments. The different components of the system and their horizontal and vertical coordination are considered. Further specific topics concern quality and typicality in the agri-food system, in particular with reference to the quality, the typical products and food safety.
