The teaching course aims to provide the students the knowledge and the expertise in relation to the Italian Law about the Safety in the workplaces as referred in the Unique Text 81/2008 concerning to the safety and health in workplaces. The teaching course provides behavioral notions of fundamental importance to carry out working activities and provides the students the critical ability to face up properly to possible emergency situations that may occur in workplaces, especially during laboratory activities for didactics foreseen in the CdS.
Knowledge and Comprehension
Knowledge of the Italian Law reported in the TU 81/2008
Knowledge of the behavioral good practices to follow in the labs and workplaces
Ability to apply knowledge and comprehension
Ability to properly follow the provisions of the safety and health regulation in the workplaces
Ability to evaluate correctly an emergency situation
Prerequisites are not required
Regulation about Safety in the Workplace; protection and prevention. Physical risks, personal protective equipment. Chemical risk. Fire, protection and fire extinguishers, emergency management. Explosion and contamination. BIological risk. Case of study – accidents in labs
Didactic material provided by the professor
Students' learning will be verified by written examination.
The examination will consist of a test of 20 multiple-choice questions with 3 possible answers of which 1 are correct answers.
In case the Covid19 health emergency persists, the examination will be done with a multiple test delivered through Moodle
The teaching course is proposed with lectures.
