The course is part of the degree program proposing to provide the tools to understand the legal framework within which the company, in particular multinational, is today operating. In the general part the course will deal with the reasons that push companies to internationalize and / or delocalize production and the problems that these trends pose to law, in particular labor law, and which decline in the well-known phenomena of social and regulatory dumping. The course analyses also the tools developed by the international institutions to promote workers' rights in the global context. In addition, the tools prepared by the companies for an intensification of responsible consumption will be examined, with particular reference to corporate social responsibility (codes of conduct, social certification, etc.) and to sustainability. In the special part, which focuses essentially on the analysis of management from the labour law point of view, we will investigate the legislation related to the contract of employment (forms of employment, labour conditions, industrial relations), the models of outsourcing and production delocalization (with reference to procurement contracts, subcontracting, subcontracting), backshoring practices with particular reference to the impact on labor markets.
