THESIS PREPARATION

The goal of this course is to enrich the students; knowledge and skills in view of the preparation of
the degree thesis through the acquisition of further practical experience or soft skills.
NOTE: 1 CFU = 1 ECTS

The student can choose between four options:
1. Attendance of the Archive Online Academy program for 6 CFU
The student will attend online courses of his choice for a total of 47 hours and then carry out a
supplementary activity of 85 hours on digitization projects underway at ARCHiVe.

2. Attendance for 3 CFU of the Archive Online Academy + another activity for 3 CFU
The total number of hours of attendance of the online courses for 3 CFU is 20 hours plus the
preparation of a paper that briefly summarizes the main issues addressed.

The further activity for 3 CFU to choose from is as follows:
a. A student's proposal after consulting the Teaching Committee - 3 CFU
For the 3 CFU attendance of the Archive Online Academy + the proposal (3 CFU) it is necessary to
fill in the form available online: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1iwvQ5QXkvqFp2iO932gSIMcknWItTDJF/view?usp=sharing and attach the proposal.
b. 75 hours complementary internship related to the degree thesis - 3 CFU
For the 3 CFU attendance of the Archive Online Academy + the complementary internship to the
degree thesis (3 CFU) it is necessary to fill in the form available online: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1iwvQ5QXkvqFp2iO932gSIMcknWItTDJF/view?usp=sharing and attach the internship’s
relevant documentation.

**Only for those who graduate in the autumn (October-November 2022) and winter (March-
April 2023) sessions, the possibility is open to continue with an activity proposed by the thesis
supervisor, related to the topic of the thesis, which will be certified by the supervisor him/herself.

PROCEDURE TO FOLLOW:
1. After choosing the desired option, fill in the attached form (marking the desired option with an x
​​and specifying the program), sign it and send it to Prof. De Rubeis for approval: flaviadr@unive.it

2. Once the certificates of the chosen activity have been obtained, the form mentioned in point 1
together with the certificate / certificates /relevant documentation / summary paper must be sent
back to Prof. De Rubeis for credit recognition.
3. After the signature of Prof. De Rubeis, the form must be sent to the Humanities Campus.
4. Only for students authorized to use option **: choose this option and fill in with your
supervisor the part: "Activity consisting". The supervisor will attach to the form a letter
certifying the activity that has taken place. The form and the supervisor’s letter are to be sent to
Prof. De Rubeis for approval: flaviadr@unive.it . Once you have obtained the signature of Prof. De
Rubeis, send the two documents (form and certification letter) to the Humanities Campus.
