Contribution of the course to the overall degree programme goals
Conversation courses will in turn be aimed at making students acquire the ability to discuss topics related to the world of economics.
Expected learning outcomes
1A. Know the basic linguistic terminology of translation
1B. Acquire skills in the analysis of language and its rhetorical devices, with particular reference to Chinese.
2. Ability to apply knowledge and understanding
2A. Knowing how to perform a linguistic analysis on different aspects of one's mother tongue and of the Chinese language taking into account the universal properties of language and the parameters of interlingual variation with respect to some specific phenomena.
3. Judgment skills
3 A. Knowing how to formulate and argue hypotheses, also developing a critical approach to the evaluation of alternative hypotheses.
4. Communication skills
4 A. Acquire the ability to discuss topics related to the world of economics, law and globalization issues using appropriate terminology.
4 B. Knowing how to interact with peers and tutors, in a critical and respectful way, in the presence and on the virtual classroom forum.
5. Learning skills
5 A. Knowing how to take notes and share them collaboratively on the online platform.

He is able to produce clear, well-constructed, detailed texts on complex topics, showing a sure control of the textual structure, connectors and elements of cohesion.

A facsimile of the translation test is available on the website https://moodle.unive.it/ in the section “[LM6370] LINGUA CINESE AVANZATA PER LA GESTIONE AZIENDALE 2 MOD. 1 - prof.ssa C. Sparvoli”. The use of dictionaries, even electronic ones, is allowed only during the test of reading comprehension and translation of a Chinese test. To pass the exam it is necessary to obtain a minimum score of 6/10 in each of the three tests: the final mark is the sum of the scores of each of the three tests.

c) tutoring aimed at discussing and deepening the specific language problems that emerged during the course and related exercises.
