This course is part of the Minor Scrittura e comunicazione, which also includes Avviamento alla scrittura and La scrittura 'creativa'. These three courses must be chosen together and cannot be separated. The course aims to provide students with skills in academic and - especially - professional writing by means of frontal teaching and practical exercises. These writing skills needed to truly support one's own business or professional goals are often missing. This Minor is therefore an important resource for students from any degree program.

A small part of the course will be devoted to journalism. Professional journalists will give a few lecture on the practical and linguistic side of the job.
This course combines face-to-face lessons with writing exercises, through which students are led to strengthen their expressive resources. At the end of the course, the students will ideally have strengthened their mastery of expressive styles and registers.
Students must have frequented the course Avviamento alla scrittura. After the course La scrittura ‘creativa’ she/he will be able to take Laboratorio di comunicazione.
How do you write a well-structured short story? How do you write a review? How do you with a commercial? The final goal of the Lab is producing a text. It can be a short story, a short essay, a review, etc. This year topic is Venice. The best texts will be integrally read on Radio Ca’ Foscari.
Students will analyze the features of different writing genres related with the topic od tourism (artistic description, journalistic review, short story, commercial, etc.).
