The course aims to provide students with skills in academic and - especially - professional writing by means of frontal teaching and practical exercises.
This course combines face-to-face lessons with writing exercises, through which students are led to strengthen their expressive resources. At the end of the course, the students will ideally have strengthened their mastery of expressive styles and registers.
B2 level English knowledge
The final goal of the course is producing a text. It can be a short essay, a review, etc on a touristic topic. This year topic is Venice.
Students will analyze the features of different writing genres related with the topic od tourism (artistic description, journalistic review, short story, commercial, etc.).
